Hollywood at its Zenith- A Brief Retrospective, by NS.
Hollywood Golden-Era Stars

*** The Age of Hollywood Moon-shine.

  • The Hollywood Golden-era is that part in Cinema history when the production values were at an all time high & this era churned out Movies that has moved us with enormous force & reflection of Hollywood's premier professionals & the Intelligentsia, reaching the zenith of Culturally superior thoughts. The old-school of thought had improvised ways to enrich the viewers with a sense of factual history & the geography & a story-line which had a sense of reality as presented by the Hollywood biggies & the talented professionals which is forever enshrined in Movie-lore History.
  • The Golden age is a reference of the high quality of a part in History, an age when a quasi- -Utopian in all aspects, like the socio-economic, the high standards of Cultural activity exists, a refined sense of well-being & an aura of high intellectually invigorating style prevailing in an age that churns out the best in any activity, as a water-shed of popular culture that exemplifies the other generations to try & regain that age of an advanced system achieved.
  • The Golden Age is between the coming of Sound with Warner Bros production of 'The Jazz Singer' in 1927, the 1st feature-length talkie to the early 60s. The main feature of this era was the use of the Narrative style & an age of the Studio-system & with the end of the Studio System's losing grip with the emergence of Independent Producers is one of the causes for the decline of the Golden age. Another major trait of this era was the use of Humanism & of  Human as the focal point which was a major feature on Hollywood propagated by  the 'old-school of thought' & the level of talent available in the Screen-writer guild's  valued  Humanist & its portrayal of a subject's (which is inherent in our daily lives) approach to all  productions devoid of selfish & brutish element was the splendor of this era.
  • To b cont'd in the Part-2.....
